Initial Tranche Offering

An overview of Zivoe's launch event

Overview

Zivoe's Mainnet Launch Event, the "Initial Tranche Offering" (ITO), will run from August 22nd, 2024 at 3PM UTC -> September 21st, 2024 at 3PM UTC.

This event marks the first opportunity for users to deposit stablecoins and receive protocol tokens. For a limited time of just 30 days, participants can deposit stablecoins into either the senior tranche, junior tranche, or both. To incentivize early participation, users who take part in this event will be rewarded with a ZVE airdrop.

How It Works

  1. Depositing Stablecoins: During the ITO, users deposit stablecoins and receive a corresponding tranche token in a 1:1 ratio. Deposits into the senior tranche yield 1 zSTT (senior tranche token) per stablecoin, while deposits into the junior tranche yield 1 zJTT (junior tranche token) per stablecoin. These tokens are claimable after the ITO concludes. For detailed instructions on how to deposit during the ITO, see our walkthrough video here.

  2. Earning pZVE Points: For each stablecoin deposited, senior tranche depositors are awarded 3 pZVE points, and junior tranche depositors are awarded 1 pZVE point.

  3. ZVE Airdrop: At the end of the ITO, 5% of the total ZVE supply will be airdropped to participants based on their proportional ownership of pZVE points.

  4. ZVE Vesting: Airdropped ZVE tokens are subject to a 1-year linear vesting schedule to enoucrage long-term participation in the protocol. You can will be able to view your vesting schedule and claim vested ZVE via the vesting page in the Zivoe dApp.

Please note, funds deposited in the ITO will be locked for two years or until the protocol reaches $100M TVL, whichever comes first. This is necessary given the duration of loans Zivoe intends to make.

Future Tranche Offerings

The ITO is expected to be the first in a series of tranche offerings. Once the Initial Tranche Offering concludes, deposits will be paused. This means that you won't be able to deposit again until another tranche offering is announced. Disclaimer
